Notebook kept by William Greenleaf Eliot. Includes material on Eliot's missionary work for the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel; notes on a conference at Cincinnati forming the Annual Conference of Western Unitarian Churches; public school business; charity lists; plans for poor relief; and sermons. Sermons of special interest are those delivered in Chicago at the establishment of a Unitarian Church Society, Sermons to Young Men, and a sermon delivered at the death of Nicholas Berthoud.
