Description
A woman stands at a podium with an open book before her; she holds a watch in her right hand and looks toward a wall clock surrounded by Kewpies. One of the Kewpies swings from the pendulum of the clock while another moves the hands of the clock. A group of children and numerous Kewpies are on the floor before the woman. One child holds a book and looks up at the woman while several Kewpies climb the podium. The text on the lower left of the image reads: "They kindly persuaded the clock to wait for him."
